For those of you who may not know, I have accepted a position with the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Patrol. My position involves working with systems which involve validating a persons citizenship and/or immigration status.
What does my new job have to do with Mass Address?
The one piece of the identification puzzle Ashton and I were not able to address were illegal immigrants. How does the visa process work? How do illegal immigrants even survive in a country where you have to show id to get many of the goods and services we take for granted?
Very soon, I will find out.
How did I get here?
Back in January/Febuary, I was becoming depressed about Mass Address. I was also upset that my cybersecurity company wasn’t thriving despite existing in a target rich environment. So, I fasted.
I fasted and prayed for 7 straight days. No food. Only water.
During the fast, I didn’t pray about Mass Address. I simply asked for G-d to lead me in the way I should go. At the end of the 7 days I received a job offer from DHS/CBP working with the very systems I would need to understand the immigration identity crisis.
I accepted the job offer and the vetting process began. Nearly 9 months later I was cleared for the role.
For the first time in my life, I am no longer uncertain about Mass Address being a piece of divinely inspired technology. G-d’s timing is not our timing.
With ai deepfakes, voice replication, and a laundry list of other scams, Mass Address will be primed for adoption at the right time in history.
People aren’t products. The only way to achieve privacy is to give control of identity back to the people. Data brokers and corporate data farms cannot provide privacy because their very business model revolves around monetizing identity.
I haven’t forgotten about you. You are the entire reason I must continue this work.
Mass Address will succeed.
