This evening at DOMI Station our session was about branding. In this session, led by Julia Holly of JH Creative, we learned the elements and power a strong brand provides.
Most of the students submitted their logos for feedback. Mass Address was the first one on trial. While listening to Julia's feedback as well as feedback from other startups, I realized how weak our logo actually is. It's not conveying the message for which it was intended.
I’ve contacted CILA Labs to let them know the situation. My cofounder is not big on logos. Why? He launched his startup in 90 days with no website and no logo surpassing $1,000,000 in sales.
I'm supposed to pitch in less than 10 days and I really don't want to put our current logo in that presentation. I'm hoping CILA can come up with a solution within a week.
Our new logo needs to convey all of these elements; Privacy, Security, Trust, Mail, and Addresses. It also needs to be very simple in design. The current logo requires too much thought to understand.
