10 years ahead of the market- Synapse Recap
I apologize for taking so long to post an update. I recently moved the corporate office downtown to DOMI Station.
Ashton and I received some great feedback regarding our startup. One person said we were ten years ahead of the market. This was shocking to hear since I thought we were WAY behind. I guess that's how an entrepreneur is wired, "We're missing the bus."
Many people stopped by to check out our table and ask questions. A few investors were among the visitors. Only two people hit us with hard questions. These conversations were very valuable for us since it allowed us to step back and look at what we are doing right and what we are doing wrong.
A white hat (ethical hacker) also dropped by to grill me on the merits of our plan. He strongly supports a government-led identification initiative using smart cards. I told him it's a bad idea for the federal government to control citizen identity. The Germans did that in World War II, and it didn't work out too well for millions of people.
Earlier today, we had a call with Google to try and get some answers as to why our application will not write to all of the individual nodes. It stumped the engineer, and we were told he would have to get back to us. This is what is stopping us from announcing that we are ready to onboard users. The application is finished, but our initial internal tests have failed to create singularities. We will overcome this problem. As soon as we do, we will announce the app is ready for our users. Also, Apple is taking their sweet time approving the iOS app. Imagine that.
Many good things are coming down the pipes. Thanks for supporting identity privacy, and we'll keep you in the loop.
Live long and prosper
